Privacy
What this site collects, where it goes, and how to get it removed. It is a personal site, so the list is short.
The newsletter
Subscribing stores your email address and the date, in this site’s own database. It is a single opt-in list: there is no confirmation step, and you get a welcome email immediately. Delivery goes through Brevo, which means your address is passed to them to send the mail; they are the delivery pipe and not the list. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and the unsubscribe page works without one. Unsubscribing marks the record rather than deleting it, so you are not accidentally re-added; ask and I will delete it outright.
The contact form
Sending a message stores your name, email, message, and optionally your company and a topic, so I can read and reply. It also stores a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to rate-limit the form. The raw address is never written down. The message is also emailed to me, which sends it through Brevo the same way the newsletter goes out.
Comments
A comment stores what you wrote, the name you gave, an email address if you choose to give one (it is never displayed), and the same one-way IP hash for rate limiting. Comments are not pre-moderated: one that passes an automated spam and abuse check appears immediately, and only the ones that trip that check are held for me to review.
What this site does not do
The site runs Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and referrers without cookies and without building a profile of you across sites. That is the only measurement here: no advertising, no tracking pixel, and no third-party script following you between pages. Nothing is sold or shared beyond what is described above. Your light or dark preference is remembered in your own browser and never leaves your device.
Removing your data
Email rapaugustino@gmail.com and ask. I will delete what I hold and tell you when it is done. You do not need to explain why.
